Hanging Eyelet Curtains on a Pole
Our standard eyelet curtains have a 40mm diameter that can fit a pole up to 35mm.

Remove the ends from your pole, leaving just the straight length to work with.

Gather each curtain, aligning the eyelets, and thread the eyelets onto the pole.

Fit the finial ends back on both sides of the pole.

Offer the pole up to the brackets (already fitted to the wall above the window), positioning the final outside eyelet between the bracket and the finial. This holds the outer edge of the curtain in place, preventing the curtain sliding all the way across the window.

When the pole is cupped in the brackets, ensure it is positioned central to the outside brackets, and then tighten the grub screw on the brackets to hold the pole firmly in place.

How to Dress your Curtains
Now that your curtains are hung, you want them to look just perfect. Here’s how you can dress them, so they fall into rounded even folds for show home standards.

Open your curtains fully so they are stacked at the sides of the windows.

Starting from the outside edge and working down from the top, place your hands at the front and back of the curtain and run your hands firmly down the length of each fold, pushing each fold into place as you go.

Condition your curtains into falling into their pleats naturally by tying your curtains stacked open for 2-3 days. Simply tie a strip of fabric/ribbon around each curtain at the top, middle, and bottom sections. Avoid indentation marks by not tying them too tight.

The longer you leave them this way, the better and more naturally they will hang in their set pleats.
