Curtains

Eyelet

Clean, simple and very stylish, eyelet curtains create a chic, modern look. The fabric folds provide a calming wave effect. They stack back neatly letting in lots of natural light. You can match your eyelet colour to your pole or any other metal finish in your room. Best of all, they are very easy to hang, threading directly onto the pole with no hooks or rings required.

Double Pinch Pleat

Double pinch pleats provide a rich and luxurious detail at the top of your curtains. The fabric is gathered into 2 pleats to give a decorative elegance when drawn. Striking on both tracks and poles with rings, the headings of your curtains are fixed, sewn-in, and pre-dressed.

Our Flexi Hooks sewn into the pleats enable you to slightly adjust your curtain drop if needed. All fabric and pattern designs are suitable for pinch pleating, however, heavy velvets and rigid textures can overly bulk the pleats.

Triple Pinch Pleat

Triple pinch pleats provide a rich and luxurious detail at the top of your curtains. The fabric is gathered into 3 pleats to give a decorative elegance when drawn. Striking on both tracks and poles with rings, the headings of your curtains are fixed, sewn-in, and pre dressed, making it easy to maintain perfect pleats along the length of your curtains. Our flexi hooks sewn into the pleats enable you to slightly adjust your curtain drop.

Wave

A modern and elegant style where curtains hang in regular, uniform S-shaped folds. A special flat tape is sewn into the heading allowing the fabric to take on the smooth, stunning ripple effect when hung. A slim and discreet wave track is required for the perfect hang for this type of heading.

Patterned and plain fabrics are suited for wave curtains, yet be wary of vertical stripes, large patterns, and big floral designs which may get lost in the back wave when curtains are open. Sheer voiles work particularly well, with the smooth, flowing design complementing the wave heading style.

  • Width & Fullness

Curtain Width is determined by the length of your pole or track, while the curtain fullness is determined by how much more fabric is required to create the appropriate number of pleats/folds to create the best look. All our curtains are made to a minimum of double fullness, which means your curtains will have the double the pole/track length of fabric.

  • Drop

Drop is the word used to describe the length of a curtain from the top of the heading to where they finish. The length of your curtains is very much down to personal preference. We will make your curtains as long as you want. When taking your measurements bear in mind any restrictions like radiators and furniture that may affect how your curtains hang.

  • Seams

Most fabrics are 140cm wide, so any curtains with a width of more than 70cm are made by joining individual fabric widths together with a seam. We will take great care to ensure where possible these will be hidden in the folds of the fabric when your curtains are hung.

Floor Length Curtains

This curtain length brings an elegant statement to any room. If you have extra space above the window, fixing your pole or track as high as you can will make your curtains even more eye-catching. Leaving a 1cm gap between the curtain and floor will ensure they draw smoothly and reduce the risk of fraying or marking.
